In The Eye Of The Beholder
When you look at this image what do you see? An old hag or a young lady?
They say that the optimist sees the young lady while the pessimist sees the old hag.
Why is it then that when we look at our own reflections it always seems that it is the old hag that stares back at us?
The answer is simple, we are constantly being shown images of what is considered to be the ideal body and are bombarded with advice on how we should look.
We are given impossible goals and are then expected to struggle to achieve them.
It is because of this that this domain has been created. It try to help you make the best of who you are and not encourage you to become something that you are not. It will look at beauty products, competitions, exercise and diet from a human approach rather than from a materialistic one.
