Tara Gardner| is a self-confessed disaster in the kitchen. While she is proud of her signature dish of beans on toast, she admits she "just can't do omlettes" and will avoid cooking the Sunday roast if she has to.

 

"My omlettes always seem to stick to the pan or something else goes wrong.

 

"I'll take on a full roast but I have overcooked the chicken on a few occasions."

 

Tara, 22 from Abersychan, and husband David normally settle for simple stir fries throughout the week but may experiment with something more adventorous of weekends. But when it comes to the big occasions, Tara has the perfect plan.

 

"We normally try and go to David's mother's for the Sunday roasts. It takes the pressure off me and she cooks a great roast."
