Models In The Making
Four men with model good looks are on the threshold of a starring role in a professional fashion shoot, thanks to Cwmbran Shopping.
The town centre ran a competition in its latest newsletter to find a “model man”, and the management team were swamped with replies.
Centre Manager, Gerry Hutchings, said: “Following hot on the heels of last year’s successful Face of Cwmbran competition where local girl, Larissa Feeley was chosen to promote the shopping centre, we felt it was time to give our male shoppers a chance.
“Our aim was to find someone who could showcase some of the best male fashions the town’s retailers have to offer and the response has been fantastic.
“Shoppers nominated their partners, husbands, brothers, sons and friends in a bid to capture the top prize of a professional photoshoot and a starring role in the next edition of our newsletter.”
The town centre was looking for someone aged between 18 and 35, and the judges have been inundated with photos of some of the best looking men in the area.
The finalists are:
-
Luke Phillips, from Cwmbran, (aged 19)
-
Matthew Ricketts, from Newport, (aged 24)
-
Jonathan Sliczny, from Blackwood, (aged 23)
-
Jason Ryan, from Cwmbran, (aged 21)
Gerry said: “The judges are working hard to choose the overall winner who will now get the chance to be Mr Cwmbran for the day.
“The results will be announced in the next few weeks and the photoshoot will appear in the September edition of Visions.”
