Cwmbran Carnival Court Judging - 24th March 2007
The carnival queen is17-year-old Stephanie April Harrhy, from Fairwater.
Her court is: Chelsie Moore, 15, from St Dials; Hannah Louise Love, 10, from Hollybush; Francesca Griffiths-Breeze, seven from Thornhill; and five-year-old Connor Hardwick, from Greenmeadow.

The court was judged by the Chair of Pontypool Community Council Cllr Cynthia Beynon, the vice chair of the Carnival Working Group Cllr Len Constance, past Mayor Cllr Gwyneira Clark; Ms Jay Rowlands (outgoing Carnival Queen of 2006) and Mrs Vera Jones of Pontypool Market. Mrs Jones kindly supplies the court outfits for carnival day and this year the bouquets are being supplied by Sweet William Florist|, also of Pontypool Market. The event was hosted by the chair of the Pontypool Carnival Working Group Cllr Huw Corfield.
This year's main funding providers are Pontypool Community Council, Pontypool Regeneration Partnership and Torfaen County Borough Council. This year's main commercial sponsors are Kier Western and Eastern Valley Housing Association.
