Evan Rachel Wood Quits Spider-Man show

A stint as a leading lady on Broadway would be a dream come true for most actresses.

But Evan Rachel Wood isn't one of them.

The True Blood actress was due to play the role of Mary Jane Weston in the new musical version of Spider-Man, but the show's producers have announced that she has pulled out of the show: "Evan Rachel Wood has departed Spider-Man, Turn Off The Dark due to a scheduling conflict."
