Multiple Sclerosis Society
We provide support and information for those affected by MS in our area.
At present we provide:

Information about MS - this includes publications, person-to-person contact and information events
Trained support volunteers
Fundraising and awareness events
Involvement in local health, social care and well-being groups
We offer support and information to all those affected by MS, their families and carers. This includes emotional support, financial support, and advice on holidays and respite care. We have local contact details for other sources of help and activities of interest e.g. healthcare professionals, social services, expert patient programme. Grants are available where applicable to help towards equipment, respite, holidays etc.
We hold a wide range of materials, including most MS Society and MS Trust publications. Email Sally Bailey for more information.
Anyone with an interest in the work of the society can join for a yearly fee of £5. Members can choose to join a branch too, for no additional fee. For more details, please contact the branch secretary (Details below).
