The Drop-In Centre at New Inn
|
The branch's weekly drop-in began in 2005. This lively group welcomes people from a wide area - Caerphilly, Abertillery, Abergavenny and Newport as well as Torfaen itself. Some are society members, others not; some people pop-in occasionally, for example to get information, others have struck up friendships and become regular visitors.
We welcome everyone to use the drop-in as and when they need it.
The drop-in was established with financial help from the main branch and the Welsh Churches Fund.
The drop-in offers:

Information station, including MS Society publications

Trained support officer present most weeks

Regular visits from MS nurses and local support agencies

Cafe service (with an honesty box for donations)

Fresh fruit platters
Ideas for the drop-in are always invited and we hold informal meetings 2 or 3 times a year to plan the way ahead.
Where: St Mary's church hall, The Highway, New Inn, Pontypool. NP4 0PH
When: Every Monday (except bank holidays) 11am - 1pm
