Do you need someone to talk to?

Gwent Cancer Support is a voluntary organisation for all people affected by cancer- including families and friends - run by people who have experienced the trauma of this illness.

  • One to one support
  • Telephone help and support Befriending
  • A 'drop-in' centre at Panteg Hospital
  • Monthly meetings
  • Informal get-togethers
  • Confidentiality
  • Home or Hospital visits when needed
  • Support for children and teenagers (see CHYPS)
  • A "safe listening ear"

All volunteer Befrienders and staff are fully trained in Listening and Communication skills - with continuous training and full supervision.
