With tutor Jill Hobbs, we meet each Wednesday in school term time from 10am till noon at Griffithstown Community Hall Rosebury St. (Off Edward St.)

Fun, very friendly group in its 9th year.

Bring your own materials and inspiration, do your own thing, no files or folders to complete.

Free Tea coffee. Bright light room.

Suffrage -Textiles Exhibition

Textiles celebrating 100 years of women's suffrage. An exhibition focusing on textile art and political expression to mark the Centenary of Women's Suffrage. In the early 20th Century women used skills learned at home to give voice to their political struggle; in aprons, ribbons and banners they visually propelled their call for universal suffrage to a wider audience.
