Code of practice for Northern Ireland updated
The Food Law Code of Practice for Northern Ireland has been updated. The new version of the code is now available.

Eat Natural recalls cereal
Eat Natural has recalled some of its Crunchy Toastcrumbs Oats Honey and Coconut cereal (450g), because the product contains hazelnuts, which are not mentioned on the label, resulting in incorrect allergen information. This means the product is a possible health risk for individuals with an allergy to hazelnuts.

Co-op withdraws butter flapjacks
The Co-op has withdrawn some of its 5 Butter Flapjack Squares because some Co-op Fairtrade Chocolate Brownies have been packed in 5 Butter Flapjack Squares packaging. The chocolate brownies contain egg, soya and wheat, which are not mentioned on the flapjack packaging. This means the product is a health risk to individuals with allergies to soya, egg and wheat or an intolerance to gluten.

Agency celebrates science
Come and see the Agency in action at one of Europe?s largest science events, the BA Festival, next month in Liverpool. This will be the first time the Agency has been involved in this event and we will be both taking part in expert panel debates and running our own event to highlight our scientific work.
