Welcome to RISE, the adult learning forum that listens to its learners. RISE is a unique service offered throughout Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen which meets the individual needs of each and every learner.
When did you last acquire a new skill, find a new hobby or study towards a qualification? You may have given up learning because you couldn't fit it around your busy lifestyle. Perhaps the classes were at the wrong time, or too far away. Maybe you had nobody to talk to about your course, or even advise you what to study.
With RISE you can learn the skills to help you find a new job, or shine in your present one. You can take a class you've always wanted to, or try something you've never considered before. RISE works with colleges and universities, local employers, voluntary and community organisations, community leaders and private trainers to ensure the best courses and facilities find their way to you. Best of all, RISE works with YOU, to provide the learning opportunities you've always wanted.
