THE annual Celebration of Achievement awards was a night to remember for around 80 guests and their families. The winners were aged from five to 73 which proved that it is important and fun to keep learning through your life. Here is a selection of them who have achieved so much over the last year. Newport Gwent Dragons and Wales rugby star Ian Gough, a former Hollybush primary and Llantarnam pupil, recorded a congratulations video message which was played to the audience. Councillor John Turner, Executive Member for Education, said: "I always enjoy being invited to this special evening.  Learning should not stop when you leave school or university.  The awards night was a chance to thank the winners of all ages for their efforts"
