Torfaen Partnership Structure
Introduction
The Torfaen Partnership should include all those people and organisations that can contribute to the delivery of the Torfaen Community Strategy. At the moment, the Torfaen Partnership is in it's infancy, it has a few organisations that are actively involved and realises that it needs to develop it's structure and mechanisms for involvement. Clearly, it will take time to engage with the wide number of organisations that can help work towards improving the quality of life of people within the Torfaen area.
What is the current structure?
At present, the Torfaen Partnership consists of a Partnership Board details of the members of these can be found by clicking here.|
The Partnership Board is the decision making mechanism for the partnership. Task and Finish groups or project teams can be established to work on various issues/projects for the partnership.
What will the structure look like?
We do not know yet, things are still developing! We are not really worried about what the structure will be, we are more interested in ensuring that the range of partnerships and organisations that exist in Torfaen can work together to improve the quality of life in the area. Over the next year or so, we hope to bring the partnerships closer together and link them in with a Local Strategic Board. However the diagram below may give a broad idea of the scale and scope of what the structure may look like. The Torfaen Partnership will have to establish good links with the other Partnerships as well as think about how other organisations and community groups can become involved if they wish.
Please note that not all the Partnerships shown in the diagram exist as yet and others are still developing.
