Community Strategy
The Torfaen Partnership came into existence on the 23rd of March 2004. It's main task is to improve social, economic and environmental quality of life for the communities of Torfaen. We cannot do this by ourselves. Instead we seek to work through our partners, agreeing priorities together which will help to focus our collective efforts.
To help us start this process we:

Have prepared a community Strategy for the area that sets out key themes identified by local people.

Are in the process of finding a way to co-ordinate local plans, partnerships and initiatives so that organisations and groups canwork together to meet local needs.
At present, the Torfaen Partnership has agreed the Torfaen Community Strategy but it is still in the process of developing and more work is required to help co-ordinate the work that is necessary to implement the Community Strategy. We need to ensure that all organisations and people who wish to become involved have the oportunity to do so.
