Service Plans
At the same time as the annual Risk Assessment is being developed Torfaen Council also produces it's service plans setting out how the services we provide will be delivered in the coming 12 months. This is a critical part of our planning process which amongst other things helps us to decide where we need to develop as an organisation, right down to the training and development of individual employees.
The Service Plans focus on the developing Risk Assessment as those areas classified as being at high risk by default requiring work in the year ahead but they also give more detail about how each service will go about delivering on the aims and objectives of our Corporate Plan. Within each plan targets and milestones for the year ahead are stated, service performance levels from the previous year are included and explained and areas of organisational development in the coming 12 months are investigated. The resulting Service Plans also satisfies our reporting requirements that we have under the Welsh Assembly Government's Wales Programme for Improvement|.
