National Performance Indicators
The National Performance Indicators are a set of performance measures that allow each Council in Wales to compare its performance against that of all of the other Councils in Wales. The performance measures are used both to review our progess against targets at the end of the year but also during the year to ensure that if something isn't going according to plan action is taken as quickly as possible to improve performance.
In 2005/06 the performance indicators that each Council are required to collect were fundamentally changed. This happened following an extensive review of performance measurement throughout Welsh Local Government. This new suite of performance measures will continue to develop in the years to come.
Please click on any of the links below to view the performance information that we collect and monitor for each service. You will be able to view both our performance over the last 5 years (where available), our targets and how we compare to other Councils across Wales.
