Pontypool Round Table

Fund Raising Events

The main aim of Round Table is FUN and meeting people from all walks of life, however, Round Table is also well known for organising novel fund-raising events which form an important part of its activities.

With an emphasis on local and practical help whether it is collecting in the local carnival and Xmas cavalcade or cooking a BBQ at local school PTAs fetes. We also provide a sleigh for the Xmas Cavalcade

Our biggest event is the Fireworks Display |we organise on the 5th of November each year. Over the years this has become an extremely important part of the Table year and has raised our profile within Pontypool and the wider area. As a member of Round Table, there is a curious satisfaction to be had from watching months of effort and planning go up in smoke! The success of this event is due in no small part to the professional quality of the fireworks and the fact they are synchronised to music. Around 10000 attended this year raising money which we can then donate to local charities and other good causes.
