The Panel Members represent the users of the Development Control, Building Control, Enforcement and Local Plan service at Torfaen County Borough Council.
Membership is broad in terms of work interest areas, covering Architects, Builders, Consultants, Developers and Surveyors.
The aims and objectives of the customer panel are:

To represent the views of customers.

To put forward ideas and suggestions for the development of the service to the benefit of everyone involved in the Planning process.

to be consulted by Planning & Public Protection on proposals for service development and improvement.
Customers are invited to contact Members of the Panel if they would like an independent opinion of the service or to comment on any aspect of the service where potential improvements could be made.
Customer Panel
First Planning & Public Protection Customer Panel has been established to provide us with valuable customer feedback and input to help us improve our service.
Customer Panel members are recruited from across the Borough. These panel members deal with comments from customers who are seeking constructive change or looking to input into strategic issues and the development of future Service Areas policy.
Other correspondence, such as customer complaints, will be directed to the appropriate area of the Service. Our Customer Panel members would like to hear from you.
