DIP Meetings 2007
Regional Management Board
The Regional Management Team reports to the Regional Management Board, which is made up of local representatives from criminal justice agencies, the local health board, wraparound services as well as governmental departments including Supporting People and progress2work. The Regional Management Board is responsible for the performance and financial management of DIP.
The following groups report directly to the Regional Management Board:
DIP Performance Management Group
The purpose of this group is to monitor performance of services commissioned by the DIP and to ensure targets are reached, best practice is shared and underperformance rectified. Service user feedback is also discussed. The group includes CJIT, Arrest Referral, Rapid Prescribing, the police drug testing manager and the CPS.
DIP Working Group
The working group’s aim is to drive forward the implementation of DIP in Gwent by ensuring the treatment framework is in place across the area. Its work includes developing integrated care pathways and ensuring clients’ needs are met. The group is attended by DIP and non-DIP service providers across Gwent, Counselling, Assessment, Referral, Advice and Throughcare (Prisons), progress2work, Arrest Referral, a police custody officer as well as mental health and housing representatives.
