Charity Technology Exchange
The CTX Programme , brought to you by Charity Technology Trust (CTT) in partnership with the not-for-profit technology capacity building organisation TechSoup , was launched on 1st July 2006.
This programme currently distributes Microsoft and Cisco product donations to the UK charity sector via the on-line CTX Shop. The products include operating system software, productivity software such as Microsoft Office, publishing software, server software and hardware products.
CTT and TechSoup are working on expanding the CTX Programme to include donations from other leading corporate technology donors.
Charities are required to pay a small Administrative Fee to cover the costs of the programme. Whilst the administrative fees vary, charities will still make savings of between 92-96% on typical retail prices.
In order to participate in the CTX Programme, organisations are required to meet specific Eligibility Criteria .
