BT Community Connections
BT Community Connections is a nationwide award scheme that connects local community and voluntary groups to the Internet.
In 2006/7 awards will be made to groups who can demonstrate how a PC and Internet connection will benefit their work and the local community.
This award scheme enables community and voluntary groups throughout the UK to get online.
Do you belong to a community or voluntary organisation that would love the opportunity to extend its work through use of the internet, but don't have the means? If so, this could be your perfect opportunity to help close the digital divide.
BT Community Connections offers organisations the opportunity to apply for a multi-media internet-ready PC and a contribution towards a year's broadband internet access through BT Total Broadband.
If you are a previous BT Community Connections award winner, you are eligible for the e-ffective Connection award.
You can apply online for an enhanced package of IT equipment, such as laptops, printers, scanners and digital cameras
There are two rounds of the award scheme: 26 October 2006 and 15 February 2007.
