The main fundraising event for the Chairman is the annual charity concert which normally takes place in October each year. The Concert consists of participants from various organsiations such as schools, bands, male choirs, theatre groups and dancing schools who all volunteer their services for free. Last years concert raised in the region of £1400.00.
From the concerts that have been put on over the years one thing is for certain is that they have shown how much musical talent there is in Pontypool and surrounding areas and anyone reading this who has taken part in any of the Chairman's Concerts, Pontypool Community Council would like to thank you for all the support you have given to them.
Information on the next Chairman's Charity Concert will appear on this site in the near future
