Christmas Trees and Lights
This is the 20th year that the Community Council has provided Christmas trees around Pontypool and has be enhancing the Christmas lights displayed in Pontypool town centre over a similar period.
The Christmas Cavalcade at the end of November/Beginning of December brings thousands of people to the town for the Christmas lights switch on. Every year the range of activities and entertainments throughout the day increases.
The Community Council has also now provided lights in Abersychan, New Inn and Griffithstow & Sebastopol. This is instead of the traditional trees and this has been warmly received by the residents of those areas.
