Henllys Community council serving the community of Henllys, provides a range of services to improve its residents quality of life

Community

Representing residents views, monitoring environmental problems, reviewing planning applications, equipping and maintaining the villages main playpark, publishing a newsletter three or four times a year which is delivered to every house in Henllys, representing Henllys on external bodies, organising community walks, the village fete.

Finance

Grants to voluntary organisations,
Minor works/environmental improvements.

The council normally meets at 6pm in the village hall on the second Monday of every month. There is no meeting in August.

 

The village hall is now sold.  Until such time as the new community centre is built the meetings of Henllys Community Council will now take place in Cwmbran Community Centre, behind the Cwmbran Community Council offices.


To cope with extra business a number of supplementary meetings may be held during the year, usually on the fourth Monday of each month.

 

Anyone intending to attend one of these supplementary meetings should first contact the clerk to make sure that the meeting will be held.
