Able Radio is a new station offering live programming, produced predominately by people who have a disability or life - limiting medical condition. From the Ty Nant Ddu Studio Centre, Pontypool, we will provide state of the art studio and technology facilities together with support services and expertise from experienced practitioners.
Able programmes are a mix of information and music. Live daily programmes will be broadcast both from our Studio Centre and from other satellite centres. Acting as a network "hub", our studio facilities will redistribute material "on air" via online digital broadcasting.
Able will provide extensive accredited training programmes that enhance the skills for individuals to increase their opportunities to enter employment within the media sector. For others, it is an opportunity to develop better methods of communication and reassess their current life style to seek more focused opportunities.
