Greenmeadow Community Farm

Volunteering

Bottle feeding

Without the work of volunteers Greenmeadow Community Farm would not be the thriving and busy place that it is today.

You may be surprised to know that it's not just the animal care that we need help with ... there's alot more going on on the farm and behind the scenes which include the following areas:

  • Education
  • Gardening & Grounds Maintenance
  • Office Administration
  • Catering
  • Retail
  • Marketing & Events

The key qualities we look for in a volunteer include:

  • Enthusiasm
  • Flexibility
  • Willingness to learn
  • Motivation
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proactive
  • Desire to make every customer's experience memorable for all the right reasons!

The minimum age for volunteering is 14 and 14-16 year olds would carry out supervised volunteering with our staff. Over 16 year olds can volunteer also. If you are interested, please call the farm to register your interest on (01633) 647662
