Greenmeadow Community Farm

Stick Man Trail

Greenmeadow Community Farm is proud to present the Stick Man Trail

Greenmeadow Community Farm is thrilled to be one of only four community growing groups in the UK chosen to pilot the new Stick Man trails. It is part of a Big Lottery funded initiative called Growing Together, which aims to get more people, including children, involved with their local community growing groups, such as city farms, community gardens, therapy gardens and community orchards. Find out more about Growing Together via: https://www.growingtogether.community/campaigns

Based on the popular Stick Man characters from Gruffalo author and illustrators Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, our self-guided trail takes you on a tour of the Farm and encourages children to explore the natural world around them.

The trail has been designed to help children aged three to seven to go on their own adventure with the character, find out more about the natural world and learn how things grow. It comprises brightly coloured boards featuring Stick Man and other characters from the picture book.  Also available for just £2.50 is a fun Stick Man Activity Pack including all you need for following the trail (except a stick which you can find on site!) and your very own certificate to prove you found the Family Tree!

Alternatively, you can download a trail sheet, map and certificate here:
