Sunday 26th March - MOTHERING SUNDAY - we don't know about you but we don't know where we'd be without our darling Mums!  As a thank you to Mums everywhere we welcome Mums and Grandmothers to a visit on us on this special day.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Saturday 8th April - 23rd April - EASTER HOLIDAYS 
Join us for what has to be one of the most wonderful times of the year at the farm with new life abound! Every day of the Easter holidays we have the following fantastic line up for you to enjoy!  Please note for the first time you can pre-book for bottle feeding the lambs! (Admission and bottle feeding fee to be paid when booking, limited spaces available, please call to book 01633 647662)

10.00 Farm Opens
10.30 - 12.30 Cuddle Corner - enjoy a cwtch with one of our smaller animals 
11.00 - Milking Demonstration - come and meet our lovely Dairy cow and find out where milk comes from!
11.00 - Candling & Handling - an amazing activity where your child can learn all about the lifecycle of chicks in the eggshell and get to see the chick inside the egg too! After which the opportunity to hold one of our Spring chicks and meet them up close! This session is bookable on the day and runs several times throughout the day
11.30 - Bottle feed our Spring lambs (spaces limited, booking required)
12.00 - Tractor & Trailer ride - hop aboard!
12.30 - Candling & Handling (as above)
12.30 - 13.30 - Meet our Giant Easter Bunnies 
13.00 - 16.00 - Craft - after a good walk around the farm, why not sit down and enjoy some Easter themed craft? 
13.30 - Candling & Handling (as above)
14.00 - Tractor & Trailer ride - hop aboard!
14.30 - EASTER MONDAY ONLY - EASTER BONNET PARADE - we all know that a lot of effort goes into creating Easter Bonnets so why not wear yours to the Farm for FREE ADMISSION (on Easter Monday only) and then join in the Parade!  Please note on Easter Monday this activity will replace the 2.30 Candling & Handling and Donkey Grooming sessions
14.30 - Donkey Grooming - helps us to spruce up our donkeys in time for Easter!

15.00 - 16.00 Make & Take your very own Easter cookie! Spaces limited and small fee applies
15.00 - 16.30 - Cuddle Corner (as above)

17.00 - Farm closes so the animals can hit the hay before another busy day!

Easter Trail available every day...your chance to explore the farm and enjoy a challenge!  £1.20 and you win a chocolate prize!

A fantastic Family day out for all.  Our annual craft and horticultural show is a great day to be involved in and you can enter your own exhibits to win cash prizes!  Even if you are not entering anything into the show, it's still a great day to come along and have some good old fashioned fun!  And the best bit?  Half price admission!  What's not to love?

A magical time of year at the Farm when our favourite visitor takes up residence in his cosy farm grotto.  Father Christmas will be welcoming school groups & prebooked groups of 10 or more from Monday 27th November - please call for details (01633 647662)

His visiting hours for general visitors are 10am - 4pm on the following days:

We are delighted to welcome back the Lylac Ridge Reindeer on Sundays 10th & 17th & Saturday 23rd

Join us for February Half-term fun & frolics!

Baby & Toddler Tuesdays

Every Tuesday from February to November is  Baby & Toddler day - targeted at infants and pre school children with an array of additional exciting activities.  They will recommence on Tuesday 7th February 2017 - please check the Baby & Toddler Tuesday page of this website for updates. You can also 'Like' our Baby & Toddler Tuesdays Facebook page.

Gwent Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers

The object of the Guild is for the preservation & improvement of craftmanship in hand weaving, spinning & dyeing for the benefit of the members and the promotion of public awareness in such craftsmanship. Meetings are held at the Farm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from 10am February to December inclusive.  Their events diary for 2017 will be advertised soon!
