Autumn - Milking

Autumn is all about Harvest time and the change in season. Celebrate British Food and Farming Fortnight (24th Sept - 5th Oct) with a visit to the Farm. We have a selection of food related Additional Activities available all throughout the autumn term.

Do Cows Drink Milk?

Come along and see for yourselves in our daily milking demonstration, included in the cost of your admission. During your visit you will also be able to meet our Holstein Friesian Dairy Cows.

Food and Farming

We offer a wide variety of additional activities to enhance your learning experience. Our Farm to Fork Tour is a great way to learn a little bit more about the animals on the Farm that provide us with food. Egg collecting, Butter making, Pizza making and Condition Scoring are just some of the activities available throughout the autumn term.

Woodlands and Habitats

Autumn is our favourite time of year to experience the delights of the changing season in our woodland. Den building, Make a bird feeder, Fire lighting and Marshmallows on the campfire are just some of the additional activities that we offer during your visit. Katharina Klug - Craft Showcase
