Blackthorn Meadow

Vegetables

Growing your own vegetables is becoming more and more popular as fears about the chemicals that are used to create the perfect potato shape, look and taste hit the media. Organic food may not look as aesthetically pleasing however it certainly is good for you.

The articles on this page are by no means a definitive guide to growing your own produce however they are a brilliant starting point. There are lots of books on the subject available from the library or your local book shop or you could even join your local allotment association where you can swap ideas with other like minded people.

You can even email me with your query and I'll post your message here so that other people can join in and help you find a solution to your problem. In the meantime use the links below for further information.
