Charitable Activities
The store is committed to the development of the community, strongly espoused by the proprietor as result of his previous work for charities across London. Furthermore the business recognises the importance of the community being strong and cohesive. This in the long terms has mutual benefits in terms in ensuring the success and prosperity of the community. In view of this the store will take an active role in the work of community groups and strive to provide assistance requested by community groups.
Helping Community Groups:
Upon taking over the business the proprietor made a generous donation of toys to a local primary school (see letter below). It is anticipated that this aspect of charitable donations and giving will increase in line with the growth of the business.
Hence the store in the next twelve months set up a programme to support local groups in their work. This could be any work with the elderly and the youth, crime prevention and community safety.
