Prince Street Post Office in Blaenavon was purpose built in 1936 as a main sorting office. It housed the telephone exchange, sorting rooms, telephone boxes, offices and strong rooms. Now a Grade II listed building with a steep pitched roof of hand crafted stone tiles, a marble plinth and sandstone frontage and much of the original woodwork inside. Still used as a Post Office serving the needs of the local community it also offers holiday flat rental, fresh bread, cakes,  sandwiches and rolls, hot savouries, take away tea and coffee, gifts, cards and award winning local ice creams.

 

There are 2 holiday flats available for rental all year round within this historic building!.
