Foreign Currency
Currency can be ordered, if ordered before 13.30 (1.30 p.m.) it will be ready for collection before lunch the next working day. If ordered later than this it will be available two days later. You must pay cash when you place the order for your currency.
There is currently 0% commission on over eighty currencies.
Travellers cheques can also be ordered under the same terms and conditions, there is no commission on Euro and US Dollar cheques but there is a small (1.5% or £3 minimum £50 maximum) charge on Sterling travellers cheques.
Travel Insurance is also available to purchase over the counter with a range of policies to suit most needs.
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) application forms can also be obtained (these replaced the E111 in 2005). These can also be checked for a small fee (currently £2) to ensure a quick return of your card.
