Case Study No. 415 - Newport
The Brief
To redesign the client's rear garden, the client's had some in put with an out line plan. I then took into account this out line and their individual requirement to ensure the design I came up with would be individual and tailor made to the family. As a young and up and coming family I went for new ideas as well as being practical.
The plan consist of; an elegant terrace for alfresco meals (the Lunar patio), a large terrace area for play following wet weather, fine green lawn with space for games, a second seating area made of decking, an area for games i.e. sand pit, a shed area, a flower bed for cut flowers and an herbaceous border.
This is what the clients said after
"Paul & Megan of Dig it Landscapes helped design, install and creatively transform our garden into something that looks magnificent. Very hard workers, who turn up on time and were always clearing away after themselves very thoroughly. Our lunar patio, decking, patio slabs and new turf are fantastic. I would recommend Dig it Landscapesto everyone"

Just some of the rubble we removed, it's never easy
and takes a lot of work to clear a garden ready to redo.
Theres a lot of work to be done before we can start to lay the patio's and new turf.
The decking and all the slabs for the patio's came of the lorry by crane.

A view of under the decking, we lay a weed control lining and the
base was made on that, then decking board place on top.
The decking made, the hand rails will be fitted later.

Each piece is number to help with the fitting, lines must be keep right.
It's like one big jigsaw , best to check and keep checking.
Half way there, you have to build the lunar one side at a time.
Almost done, time to start putting in the edging bricking at the top end and then the gravel.
