Training
We have a wealth of experience within Pro Choice Care Limited. This experience is backed by a comprehensive and on-going programme of training.
All care staff must reach a minimum level of competency. This is measured through a robust Induction process, regular Supervision, as well as an annual Appraisal with one of the management team.
Standards and care practices have been drawn up on all aspects of support, and are fully integrated into the Companies Policies and Procedures across the board.
We have a commitment to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
The majority of our staff team, are currently working towards the NVQ Level 3 in Care.
All our staff hold the Emergency First Aid qualification, and Food Hygiene Certificate.
All staff have to complete POVA training and a Moving & Handling course, which is repeated every year.
We have a robust in-house training programme, which continually updates our level of expertise, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of support.
We are able to access high quality of training, through close partnerships with Torfaen Training and Coleg Gwent.
