Q How do i book a castle?
You can contact us by land line mobile or email us via our website, if we are unable to answer your call leave a message and we will get back to you, last minute bookings are also welcome, if we have availability.
Q Which castle should i book?
when hiring a castle you will probably have one in mind or have seen one you like, but you must consider how many children you will be inviting and the age group of your party, as you don't want to hire a castle that is going to be too small or unsuitable.
Q Where can we have the castle?
Indoors
If your party is indoors you must ask about the size or take your own measurements of the area on which the castle is to be set up, allow for low fittings such as ceiling lights spot lights ECT, having this information before hand will make it easier when it comes to booking your castle.
Outdoors
If outdoors you need to take measurements of your garden, be aware of any over hanging power cables and branches, the ground should be flat but slight slopes are ok, the garden must be free of dog mess bricks and sharp objects, access to your garden is important so please have access cleared on the day, as we will bring your castle through on a sack trolley, ground sheets stakes or sand bags will be used depending on the type of ground the castle will be on.
Q How long does it take to set up and put away?
Depending on what type of castle you have booked it can be 10-20 min to set up and around 15-30min to pack away, so when booking a hall please allow for setup and collection times, if you have access to a hall hours before the party starts we can if possible setup early for you or even the day before , but only if the castle is not hired out , there is no extra charge for this.
Q How is the castle inflated?
The castle is inflated using an electric powered blower, which is left on continuously to keep the castle inflated at the right pressure, the blower can be a little noisy, so if you are planning other things like an entertainer or want the children to sit down for their food you can switch off the blower at the mains.
OUTDOORS
If outdoors we can supply extra long extension cables, or if there is no electric supply we can supply you with a petrol blower or generator for a small charge.
Q What if it rains?
There is no cancellation fee if there are high winds, or if it is raining on the day of your booking, we will contact you; some of our castles have a shower cover, but do not protect in heavy rain. if your castle was booked for a morning delivery but your party is in the afternoon we can still bring the castle to you if the rain clears up, just phone us back.
If we have already delivered your castle and there are some showers, you will need to turn off the castle, switch on again when rain stops, any rain on the castle will look like bubbles and can be dried off with a towel. if the rain is heavy and looks like it will not stop ring us and we will pick it up as soon as possible.
Q What does the price of the castle included?
The price you see is the price you pay, this is for the whole duration of your party, including delivery and set up, saftey mats, power cables, sand bags or stakes and ground sheets.
Q Can i keep the castle over night?
Yes, castles can be kept overnight depending on where the castle is going to be and on the weather forecast, we will provide covers for the castle at night but if there is a good chance it will rain overnight then we would pick it up, light showers are ok but the covers will not protect from heavy down pours as the castle will get full of water and will be difficult to lift and pack away; indoor use is not a problem.
Q What things can go wrong?
Sometimes things don't always go to plan, if you have booked a hall weeks or months in advance, contact them a few days before to make sure they will be there to open up or they have not double booked the hall, we may be very busy with deliveries on the day and will need to access the building to set up on time.

There can be a time we could be stuck in traffic or broken down, so it is important for us to have your mobile contact number or the number to the hall you have hired if they have one
keep a copy of our contact details with you, if we have not turned up at a specified time or we have got the wrong time for your party booking, we will contact you the day before or on the day to avoid this happening.
The castles does'nt fit, this can be avoided if mesurements are taken before booking.
sometimes we might have a spare castle on the van that could be used if suitable.
