triflesky
Triflesky: born in the year 2000 as a joint project between brother and sister Mark and Bev. Songs were recorded at Q's Q Station self-built studio in Cwmbran, South Wales.
Performances followed in nearby Cardiff venues and small festivals around the UK; musicians were often enrolled to help with live work and recording.
Since the early beginnings, triflesky have independently released three albums and two ep cd's; the most recent ep '3' features three of the latest triflesky songs which will be included on the full length album later this year.
The current triflesky line up:
Mark Green - programming, drums
Bev Gough - vocal, saxophones, percussion, toys/instruments
Matt - bass guitar

More background info on Q and Choo:
Mark uses Ableton Live to take the triflesky tracks out in a live situation, using two laptops built into a case. Onstage, Mark plays drums and percussion. Matt plays bass. Mark composes the triflesky tracks in his studio, and Bev later adds her vocal and melodic ideas to the songs.
Bev has been writing and composing since 1987. The first triflesky recordings are her song ideas re-recorded, rearranged and renewed in Q's quirky style; this process gave birth to the triflesky sound. At their best performing live, all members share the love and ability to improvise and create something a little different each time.
Next triflesky performance is at Cardiff Barfly, Wednesday 25th October 2006. Doors open 8pm.
