What We Do
‘The chocolate making experience’
At least two weeks before the teambuilding experience we will discuss with you your wishes and tailor the whole event to your needs.
Your team will spend about 2 hours in our chocolate workshop area (or we can come to you)making a variety of high quality Belgian chocolates which they will box up. Each team member has at least 25 chocolates to take away. The team will be split into groups of differing sizes dependent upon your wishes and numbers taking part.
Elements of competition will be brought into the experience the level of which will again depend upon your wishes. They can go from friendly and amusing to very intense!
There are many different elements of competition that can be brought in including design and presentation through to creating a business with profit and loss margins.
‘ The Teambuilding experience’
Your team will be observed throughout its chocolate making experience in an unobtrusive way and then taken to our training room where they will be guided through a discussion about how they operated together.
They will consider how they worked as a team, how they worked as individuals and focus on how they felt about the experience. They may be given the opportunity to compare this to their work situation and look at whether they have used personal skills which they don’t have the opportunity to or are overlooked at work. In particular, it gives the opportunity for colleagues to give praise to each other, comment on observed skills and suggest, in a controlled environment, improvements that could be made.
For a closed workgroup, about to work on a project, this could ensure that people are allocated work according to their skills and personal attributes and ensure the project is more efficient and dynamic. For managers from different parts of an organisation, or from a partnership of organisations, the experience can open up a higher level of understanding which leads to more profitable alliances. It will have been important that we thoroughly understand the nature of the group you are bringing and what you want to achieve when we meet you to prepare the experience.
